Elopement Prep in a Cozy AirBnB

The day began in the warm and inviting comfort of a secluded AirBnB, nestled in the Columbia Valley in BC. In the darkness of the early hours the couple spent a quiet, meaningful morning hand writing vows and listening to music with loved ones as the anticipation of the day was building, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. A relaxed morning allowed for heartfelt exchanges, final details, and a few deep breaths before their intimate first look on the deck of their Air BnB. This cozy setting provided a perfect contrast to the adventurous day ahead of them and the unreal landscapes they would soon explore.

Heli Elopement Ceremony in Invermere, BC

After an emotional first look, these two were excited to start exploring and with hearts racing, we all took the short drive to the heli base with their family and friends that would join them for their helicopter elopement experience. Behind the scenes of this day, some very meticulous location planning had been going on with some pretty specific goals in terms of scenery and backdrops. We knew just the place and remained as hopeful as possible with a turbulent morning forecast clearing. As we took flight, we could literally see passing showers and snow squalls in the valleys ahead of us and in true fairytale fashion, we broke through the worst of it and laid eyes on the pristine, alpine paradise that we had hand picked for them and it did not disappoint. We touched down and gave these two space to share their private vows with each other as the heli made a return trip to pick up their friends and family that would be witnessing their ceremony.

The weather was constantly moving around, splashing light across the valley in ever changing patterns and it was quite spectacular. Their ceremony, held in this breathtaking solitude, was a moment of pure magic.
After the ceremony and some family photos, the heli departed with their guests and this allowed us some more time to explore another area of this alpine basin and the variety of scenery and view points was unreal. We even left enough time for a secondary landing location on the flight back to base to sneak a few more special moments together.

Little Beehive Wedding Photos in Larch Season

After the exhilarating heli ceremony, the couple made their way to Lake Louise for the next part of their adventure; hiking to Little Beehive during the golden hues of larch season. They met another crew of their hiking friends to share in the experience and had a short lakeside lunch with sandwiches and snacks before breaking trail on one of Lake Louise’s most popular hikes. The weather at this point was simply amazing and it was a pleasure making strides with these two in the crisp autumn air with vibrant yellow larches lining the trail.

As we ascended, the panoramic views only became more breathtaking. With the turquoise waters of Lake Louise below and the snow-dusted peaks surrounding them, every step felt like a scene from a storybook. The couple took their time, capturing stunning portraits along the trail and pausing to soak in the moment. Little Beehive’s summit provided an unmatched view, making for some special moments shared with their friends and the Bride’s mother who had been training for this moment.

Picnic Reception and First Dance at Cascade Ponds in Banff National Park

As if the day couldn’t get any more magical, the couple arrived at Cascade Ponds in Banff National Park for a relaxed and intimate picnic reception. A beautifully arranged picnic spread awaited them, taken care of by friends and family. With the BBQ fired up, the air soon filled with laughter and shared stories of this fantastic couple.

As the sun dipped below the peaks, they shared their first dance beside the still waters of the pond. The golden hour glow reflected off the lake, casting a warm, dreamy light over their private celebration. With only the sounds of nature and the soft melody of their song, the moment was completely theirs, simple, romantic, and perfect.
