First Look at Spring Creek in Canmore

We last saw E & D for their engagement session in Canmore earlier this year and have been looking forward to their wedding ever since. The time has flown by and we found ourselves joining them on the morning of the wedding day at home here in Canmore, ready to prepare for their first look together at Spring Creek. These two were so excited to see each other and they shared some intimate moments together by the creek. Once they had seen each other, we joined up with the wedding party for some photos at the reservoir and took advantage of some electric fall colors still clinging on this early week in October.

With some fun and games with the wedding party behind us, we made our way up to Silvertip Resort so they could take a quick break to recharge before their ceremony. In the meantime, their guests took their seats at the incredible outdoor ceremony area. We loved the personal touch E & D put in place with their wedding arch in place instead of the traditional gazebo at Silvertip. The weather was exceptional and these two exchanged vows in the presence of loved ones and had their dream ceremony outdoors in the mountains of Canmore.

As keen golfers who visit the course every year, they were keen to steal away and take advantage of the incredible views the course offers so we toured the grounds in buggies and had some time and space to capture some more couples photos as the sun dipped.

As day turned to dusk, it was time to join their guests for their grand entrance to their reception. Dinner was served and these two enjoyed some wonderful speeches from their nearest and dearest before opening the dance floor for the evening.

Silvertip Resort is an amazing venue and one of our favorites in Canmore and Banff. Photographically, it is beautiful and the views and incredible for your guests to really get that mountain experience!
