These two prepared for their special day at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, a world-class venue that exudes charm and sophistication. This particular day was no exception and it as a joy to see these two start their day with their first look to ease the anticipation.

Adventure Heli Elopement in the Canadian Rockies

With a sense of excitement and adventure in the air, we headed to Rockies Heli to continue their day together. It was close to their hearts to be able to exchange private vows in a location with privacy being a priority. So, with that said, we took to the skies and chose a lesser known landing area with a huge variety of backdrops and views so we could enjoy exploring the sights together. These two couldn’t have had better weather, making for a wonderful morning in the mountains. They exchanged their vows together with an unbelievable view and we enjoyed the return walk to the heli with more photos along the way. It’s relaxing mornings like this that gives us the time to get more creative behind the cameras and look for ways to capture your day in a truly unique fashion.

Elopement Ceremony at Lake Minnewanka

After the helicopter adventure, we took the scenic drive to Lake Minnewanka for their lakeside elopement ceremony. With their guests eagerly awaiting their arrival, ready to share in the experience, the stage was set for a beautiful afternoon ceremony. After the ceremony, there was charcuterie, desserts and bubbles to be shared along with stories, love and laughter. It really was the perfect way to be able to enjoy their own slice of paradise, and also include their family and friends too.

Reception at The Maple Leaf in Banff

As the sun started to leave the valley, we made our way to the cozy and elegant restaurant, The Maple Leaf, one of Banff’s top dining destinations. Known for its upscale Canadian cuisine, The Maple Leaf has a small, private dining room, perfect for elopements. They settled into an intimate evening with loved ones to round up their amazing day together in the mountains.
