Adventure Heli and Hiking Elopement in Nordegg
Travelling from Georgia, we were able to help these two adventurers shape their unique day together in the Canadian Rockies. They prioritized their time outdoors and had a completely open mind with locations and were ready to explore. We hand picked some options for them and ultimately they settled on an amazing blend of big scenes, intimate places and a heli adventure to end the day.
Private Vows on a secluded Lake in the Rockies
On a quiet secluded lake shore, these two enjoyed the personal exchange of private vows. With silence all around, it was so nice to have some time and space for these two to simply be present and enjoy this relaxing and intimate start to their day together. We then took the time to explore the area a little more in the forest before continuing the adventure toward Bow Lake.

When driving the Icefields Parkway, the scenery is amazing and it always makes sense to stop and enjoy the sightseeing on offer at one (or more!) of the amazing lakes and viewpoints along the way. On this day, we stopped at Bow Lake for these two to take in the sights and feel the wild winds that come roaring off the Bow Glacier. Before long it was time to make our way back out on the open road.

With more jaw dropping scenery along the way, our next destination was planned so that we could get out and stretch our legs and put our feet down on the trails to enjoy some fresh air. We parked up and set off for a beautiful viewpoint overlooking Abraham Lake.
Once we had enjoyed the elevated views over the lake, we returned back to the shoreline for a different perspective.

It was soon time to make our way to the heli base and prepare for the evening flight experience. With some moving cloud cover and ever changing light, we chose a unique landing spot that we knew holds the light a little longer than most to give our couple the best opportunity for the best light. We took to the skies and enjoyed the expansive scenery and set down on a broad ridge line with incredible views.
