Ever since hiking with C & B for their engagement photos, we were excited to learn all about their wedding plans this Summer in Invermere, BC. When the day finally came, we met them at Brady Creek Ranch in the morning as they were getting ready for their first look. With plans in place, we joined them for their intimate first look on the boat dock before we made our way to the heli base for their pre-ceremony heli-wedding photos. With so many location options to choose from, these two opted for expansive glacier views and off we went!

With a thrilling ride over the mountains bordering the Bugaboos and Purcells, it was time to return to Brady Creek Ranch, with a private landing right outside the A-frame and ceremony site. Talk about a grand entrance to re-join their wedding party. With some final touch ups and pre-ceremony preparation done, we enjoyed some time with their wedding party for photos, along with a father-daughter first look. As the excitement levels rose, their guests started to arrive and take their seats for their outdoor ceremony on this beautiful Summer’s day.

As husband and wife, B & C joined their guests for cocktail hour, with lawn games and refreshments as we made some time for some detailed shots of the venue. They did such an amazing job setting up a ski themed, chalet style celebration in this unique venue. The rest of the evening flowed beautifully with dinner and of course some incredible speeches. As the evening drew on, we knew we were on “sunset” watch and to let B & C know when it was “go time” and so , amongst the cake cutting and refills at the bar, we stole away for undoubtedly the best rainbow we’ve ever seen on a wedding day. So much so that when guests realized we were popping outside, word spread fast and everyone came out and marveled at the conditions. What a special moment to share with close friends and family on your wedding day! Finally, when the light faded, it was time to turn up the party with some amazing live music to the early hours!
We loved the creativity of their timeline, making the most of outdoorsy photo time together to showcase their love for the mountains, without it taking away from the time they had to share with their guests. Brady Creek Ranch is an incredible venue and one we hope to visit again soon.
