When L & T reached out about their plans to photograph their engagement in the mountains, there’s only one place they wanted to go...the iconic Moraine Lake. As Moraine Lake engagement photographers, we opted to stay away from the crazy early wake up and enjoy the end of day instead, and what a fantastic decision it was. With less people and the setting sun, the wildfire smoke held off and paved the way for some amazing evening conditions for us all to enjoy.

Buster the sausage dog steals the show at Moraine Lake Engagement Session

In the planning stages of this shoot, we were mindful to make sure that we could bring along L & T’s furbaby, Buster so he could enjoy the show too. Even at 9yrs old, Buster led the charge and had a blast, staying on keen chipmunk watch for us. We love having dogs to keep us company and Buster was no exception.

With day turning to dusk, L & T soaked up the final views of the Ten Peaks catching the golden light. These two really know how to make each other laugh and we had such a great time hanging out with them. We’re looking forward to being a part of their upcoming wedding celebrations in Banff later this year.
