It’s always a joy when locals get in touch and are looking for somewhere a little less travelled for their photos. These two were no exception and we worked closely together to make sure that their experience was discrete, unique and somewhere a little less known!

Having made the trip up from Chicago, C & S enjoyed their weekend sightseeing and enjoying all that Banff has to offer. We connected with them about their plans and arranged a session with them for their engagement photos at the incredible Peyto Lake in Banff National Park.

Arguably one of the most magical times of year in the Canadian Rockies is Fall and more specifically Larch Season. The Larch trees turn into their golden yellow and bring the landscape to life with this amazing color contrast. You have to know where to look and better yet, where to go to steal away from the crowds that come with this time of year. The Icefields Parkway is arguably one of the most picturesque roads to drive in the world. It’s certainly no coincidence that some of the best views in the Canadian Rockies can be found along the way. Join C & N for their sunrise adventure engagement session at Peyto Lake and enjoy the highlights.

There’s something special about watching the sunrise in the mountains and spending that experience with your adventure buddy is something that can’t be beaten. S & S contacted us to capture some engagement photos for them in the mountains during their trip to Banff. We created a few customized itineraries with a variety of photo opportunities that might catch their eyes. They decided on the iconic Moraine Lake to start off their day at sunrise and from there we enjoyed some time at the foot of the incredible Takakkaw Falls. These two adventurous souls started their day with a perfect Summer’s sunrise in Banff at Two Jack and Vermilion Lakes, as Mt. Rundle was one of their favorite mountains. Getting engaged high up in the mountains is something truly special. These two booked a campsite at Lake O’Hara, aruguably one of Canada’s most pristine and well kept areas to enjoy a vast network of trails.
