Getting ready photos and intimate first look at Camp Horizon

We met D & K on this fine, Fall morning in Bragg Creek to join them whilst they prepared for their big day. They shared the experience with friends and family, setting up some finishing touches to the venue and making time for some fun and games too! Before long, we were ready to step outside into the grounds for an intimate first look in the forest. It was beautiful and set those morning nerves at ease for the rest of the day.

After their first look, we headed off site, to a well known waterfall location nearby for a change of scenery for some couples photos together. These two certainly hit the jackpot with weather with nothing but blue skies and warm sunshine for company! We had some fun together exploring the river before heading to the falls.

Upon our return, we regrouped with the wedding party for some portraits before everyone’s attention was turning to their ceremony. With their guests taking their seats, the wedding party congregated and the procession began. With a personalized ceremony hosted by a friend of the bride and groom, there were laughs and tears and some wonderful moments shared between these two. Once these two had made things official, it was time for some socializing in the grounds and some family photos before dinner.

As the evening drew on, these two got the festivities started for their reception. We stole away for a short moment as the sun was setting for some golden hour photos together, before rejoining the celebrations. With their favorite caterers serving a family served selection of flavors, energy levels were on the rise as guests shared in some entertaining speeches before the dance floor opened.

D & K created an incredible wedding together, full of the people they love and more importantly, time to share with them.
